Organise a Fundraising Event at Work …….

Supporting CAARS Cats, Dogs and Small Animals has its clear benefits – Providing thousands of Displaced, Distressed, Unwanted or Lost animals with clean warm secure accommodation and nourishing food whilst suitable homes are found for them. CAARS is PRO-LIFE and Do-Not euthanize only in the very extremest circumstances and with the advice of a qualified Veterinarian Practitioner. Veterinary care takes up a very large percentage of CAARS funding. CAARS are more than happy to receive donations for veterinary care direct to our vets: Companion Care Vets at Unit 7 Orbital Retail Centre Voyager Drive Cannock WS11 8XP Email: cannock@companioncare.co.uk

The benefits are less apparent of the impact that corporate support with CAARS Rescue Sanctuary will have on your business.

Companies who have supported CAARS in the past Comment on increased sales, enhanced customer loyalty, reduced stress levels and better communications in the work place and most of all, an awe-inspiring sense of satisfaction and achievement.

If you’re not sure how your organisation could help CAARS Rescue, here are a few ideas:

  • Payroll giving – Encouraging your staff to donate straight from payroll. This is an efficient, tax-free way to regularly donate to CAARS Sanctuary. Donations are tax-free as they are deducted directly from the employees’ salary prior to tax being calculated. Donating by this means will ensure that the value of donations can be increased by 41%.
  • Company sponsorship for competitions such as, fun runs and part marathons, as well as UK and perhaps worldwide challenges
  • Organised  challenges, where all employees volunteer to do something out of the ordinary or even something extraordinary to gain donations for the Sanctuary’s animals ….

CAARS Mission

Our Mission is  to provide a safe sanctuary and refuge for ALL distressed or unwanted Dogs and Cats. We do try to help where we can with any animals large or small. We particularly try to seek homes for animals which may have special needs, such as elderly or infirm animals that might otherwise be sent for euthanasia (destruction). When you choose to adopt a Pet from CAARS you can rest assured that thorough vet checks will have been carried out on dogs which have come to us as rescue cases, each of which will have received at the very least its initial vaccination as recommended by CAARS veterinarian practice, the pet will also have been Flea-Treated and Wormed.  You will be provided with a voucher to cover a large portion of the cost of Neutering which CAARS both encourage and recommend and you will also receive a voucher which will cover the cost of your new pet’s next veterinary consultation.

C.A.A.R.S next open day will take place on Saturday 30th May

Watch this space for more details of the event which will of course involve much fun and plenty of Doggy fun and games …. All Welcome!

About Us

C.A.A.R.S Registered Charity No. 1147495 (Carers Anonymous Animal Refuge Sanctuary 2011) is a PRO-LIFE (we do-not kill animals) voluntary refuge sanctuary operated by our volunteer members. C.A.A.R.S aim is to provide a complete rescue and shelter facility for all homeless, distressed, abandoned, or unwanted pets; to treat those pet’s for any sickness or ailment and to set about finding new homes for them as quickly as possible. Please Note* CAARS keep all stray dogs for a period of 14 days rather than the standard regulatory 7 day period which most local authorities adhere to. This is before we set about seeking new caring homes for them. CAARS now keep any Micro-chipped dogs for 28 days to allow owners time to locate and collect (we have found that some micro chip companies cannot trace owners for varying reasons).

C.A.A.R.S is a voluntary non-profit making organisation that is very proud of its strictly PRO LIFE stance, C.A.A.R.S is operated by its volunteer members and supported solely by charitable means. If you feel that you are able to make a small donation to this very worthy cause then please go to our DONATE page. When you choose to adopt a Pet from CAARS you can rest assured that thorough vet checks will have been carried out on dogs which have come as rescue cases, each of which will have received its initial vaccination as recommended by CAARS official veterinarian practice, the pet will have been Flea Treated and Wormed. You will be provided with a voucher to cover a large portion of the cost of Neutering which CAARS both encourage and recommend and you will also receive a voucher which will cover the cost of your new pet’s next veterinary consultation.
